Atonement believes music ministry should be an integral part of our church’s life and worship. We seek a full-time person or part-time persons to lead our worshiping community on keyboard/organ, lead our various musical groups, and lead our church in serving our community with worship and music, in traditional and contemporary forms.
We seek a servant who exercises passion for the Lord Jesus Christ by creatively using their wide range of musical abilities. We desire a leader who guides and encourages our people to use their musical gifts to propel God’s Word into the hearts of our
worshiping community.
We seek a musical leader(s) who will:
Desire Christ’s gifts in worship and Christ’s care through His Church
Utilize vocal skills in leading the musical aspects of worship
Display an ability to recruit, plan, and lead
Utilize skill for leading/directing Atonement’s vocal and handbell choirs
Work with our pastor, staff, and leaders in developing our worship services
Take an active role in the congregation’s life
Appreciate and utilize the heritage of Lutheran worship while integrating contemporary music into the worship experience
Oversee and/or lead our children’s music ministry
Display an ability to conduct instruments and accompany soloists and ensembles

Atonement Lutheran Church is located at 1621 Francisco Rd., in Columbus, within a neighborhood full of mission opportunities. We are actively reaching the international community living in nearby apartments with an expanding preschool ministry for their young families. We are also making plans to reach the 20-somethings who live, work, and study nearby.
Francisco Rd. runs East/West between Bethel Rd. and Henderson Rd. in Northwest Columbus.
