Highlands Presbyterian Church is hosting The Columbus Guitar Society Ensemble at its Second Sunday at Highlands concert series on October 9 at 2 PM. The ensemble is composed of 14 players for this concert. The players will follow the old European pattern for classical music - the enjoyment of playing music together in a comfortable setting.
The one hour program will consist of music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods, featuring compositions by Probst, Marella, Ponce, Fujii, Telemann, Monteverdi, Granados, Brouwer, Carabajal, Pujol, Sor, and Grieg, in a global tribute to the versatility of the guitar.
