Seeking Part Time Organist/Pianist

Fellowship Lutheran Church, located in northwest Columbus, Ohio, seeks an organist/pianist  beginning November 2, 2025. Our small ELCA congregation is looking for a dedicated church musician who will provide music ranging from the classics to contemporary church music composers for both organ and/or piano.

Our organist/pianist provides music (prelude, hymns, liturgy, postlude) for one Sunday morning service each week plus one service on Easter, one Christmas Eve service, and additional services during Lent and Advent. The organist/pianist also:

·       Supports occasional performances of our choir and rehearses ½ hour before Sunday worship and ½ hour following the worship service the previous week. The organist/pianist and choir director work together to support choir practices and performances.

·       Plays for weddings and funerals held at Fellowship Lutheran Church.

·       Accompanies performers from the congregation who share their musical talents vocally or on a variety of instruments throughout the year.

Instruments in our sanctuary are:

·       Rodgers Concord 760 Pipe Combination organ  

·       Kawai baby grand

Estimated time commitment:  3 – 4 hours per week plus time for personal rehearsal and music research.
