Seeking Part Time Organist/Pianist

Unity Presbyterian Church in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a part-time organist/pianist.

Purpose: To provide organ, piano and keyboard music and accompaniment for scheduled worship services and other activities such as choir rehearsals, special services -with right of first refusal for funerals and weddings- in support of the music ministry of the church.

This is a part-time position.

Primary responsibilities:
Provide organ/piano music for all traditional worship services, including Sunday traditional services, mid-week services (Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week) and all special services where the organ/piano is the primary instrument used. With right of first refusal, provide organ music for weddings and funerals held at Unity church (Pay for weddings, funerals, and memorial services is compensated additionally, based on an established fee schedule.)

Rehearse with and accompany the adult choir at weekly rehearsals and report to church on Sundays at time scheduled by the Music in Worship Director for choir rehearsal and preparation for Sunday worship. The choir sings from mid-September through May.

Rehearse with and accompany soloists and instrumentalists for traditional worship services and other special worship services on organ or piano.
