Clinton Heights Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCA) is looking for a part-time pianist and/or organist to begin immediately.  This position could be shared with the potential for flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide piano and/or organ music for Sunday worship services (currently one morning service)

  • Provide piano and/or organ music for seasonal and special services (e.g. mid-week Lenten services, Holy Week, Christmas Eve, other services throughout the year)

  • Provide music for weddings and funerals based on your availability (Compensation for these services is in addition to weekly salary.)

  • Provide accompaniment for special musical groups and soloists

  • Participate in planning of worship services in conjunction with the Pastor and Worship and Music Committee

Qualifications:

  • Experience with service playing and accompanying is desirable.

  • A desire to work with church leaders toward the furtherance of the worship life of the congregation

Salary:

$10,500-$13,000 annually, commensurate with experience

The church has the following resources:

  • 3-manual Allen digital organ (MDS-50)

  • Yamaha grand piano

  • Electronic keyboard
